One of those "not so scientific" fields, it would seem, due to a certain lack of  something most professionals probably assume was used when updating the DSM 2 to DSM 3.

This eye opening, jaw-dropping, and unbelievable accounting of the methods used to add so many conditions to the DSM 3, provides *TWO* great examples for
1. Why we should Question EVERYTHING

2. Why we should never change history, but instead record it as accurately as possible, and add any needed changes later, while keeping the ENTIRE record, so that we fully understand what happened, and how we can avoid it in the future.

The problem?  
Many conditions were added based on consensus without any supporting scientific data!
Far too many.
