What strikes me as odd, is the filming is so much like "reality TV", and no one seems in danger, except for that one crowded pinch point with the doors where Capitol Police and public are having a reverse tug of war, a "push of war" if you will.
Here, and in a couple other spots, when people are not being confrontational, the cops push them, for less than obvious reasons. He might have been trying to keep them following him instead of going the way here at the top of the stairs, but how do those filming it know what the officer intends?
so much of that day just looks "strange". Who's the lady on the bullhorn yelling logistics into the building where they started handing out sticks or poles or similar pieces of wood .. what are they, how many were there, and were any seen used as a weapon during the riot? All the video footage I've seen seems to only show flag poles and pepper/bear spray. Except that one guy who had something that looked like a ... "cattle prod" i guess, or personal defense "zapper" for lack of a better description. I'll have look that one up. Noticed it on the NPR or FBI page where they labled all the suspects by number, put a pic or two and a snippet of video where available (and are asking the public for info, etc)
